Philosophy of Medicine – Lesson. 31 – Whole Individual, Whole Identity, and Whole Individuality

Soul/Spirit represent the living process which brings unity, harmony, and equilibrium in the living functions of trillions of individual, independent cells which work together for the benefit of the Singularity popularly represented by the personality of man.
Biology must use the concept of Soul/Spirit to identify each man as a Specific Individual with Individuality. Human Identity and Individuality always involves the biological community, the time, the place, and the environment which are constantly interacting to provide the basis for the human existence.
A brief glance at the face is enough for most people to identify one another. However, man does not exist with the same identity during the course of his life. The word identity describes the condition or fact of being a specific person. Identification is the process by which a person can be identified in an accurate and consistent manner.

Philosophy of Medicine – Lesson. 30 – Identity and Individuality of Multicellular Human Organism

Philosophy of Medicine – Lesson. 16 – Life is neither created nor destroyed by Man

Yes Indeed, Life is Complicated. The complexity of Life involves the perplexing problem of Death. But, I ask my readers to meditate on the phenomenon called Life by understanding the designing of Matter and Spirit.
Life can neither be created nor destroyed by man. Life is established by the Principle called Spirit which is related to the unchanging or immutable nature of Matter.
The indestructibility of matter was explained by Lavoisier as the Law of Conservation. “We may lay it down as an incontestable axiom,” Lavoisier writes, “that in all the operations of art and nature, nothing is created; an equal quantity of matter exists both before and after the experiment.” What appears to be the destruction of a body is merely the transformation of its matter into another physical condition, without loss of mass unless there is an equivalent gain in energy. The total quantity of matter and energy remains constant throughout all physical changes. Material substances undergo changes when they interact with other material substances, but this “change” cannot be described as the permanent reality. The permanent reality describes the unchanging, or constant nature of chemical elements and molecules in spite of their tendency to interact with other elements and molecules.

Philosophy of Medicine – Lesson. 1 – Man is the Spectrum of Seven Colors

Whole Dude’s Whole Theory of Man defines Man as the ‘Spectrum of Seven Colors’. The Seven Colors or Dimensions of Man are, 1. The Physical, 2. The Mental, 3. The Social, 4. The Moral, 5. The Spiritual, 6. The Creative and 7. The Rational. Isaac Newton could easily verify his ‘Theory of Light’ by conducting his critical experiment in which he used two prisms to breakdown and to reconstitute white light rays. In case of Man, such experimental verification is not possible as Science does not have the capability to breakdown Man and reconstitute him. However, Science provides verified information about the building blocks of life and about basic living functions such as ‘Metabolism’ which essentially involve making, breaking, and repairing ‘Molecules of Life’.

Whole Dude at Whole Foods describes Whole Self as the coming together of the Self and the Knowing-Self

If the body knows its Owner, there is an anatomical structure that is associated with the function called Knowing-Self.

Adi Shankara ignores the fact of his earthly existence in his Discovery of True or Real Self

We need a methodology to study philosophy and to understand philosophical statements. Logical Positivism, also known as Scientific Empiricism aims to clarify concepts in both everyday and scientific language. It describes analysis of language as the function of philosophy. This analysis of language and of concepts is important to understand questions of belief and ideology which affect what we think we ought to do individually and socially. I would use this method of ‘Applied Philosophy’ to analyze the philosophical doctrine of ‘Advaita’ and to study the views and philosophy of Adi Shankara and his efforts to interpret the true or real identity of man and the world.

How many Whole Dudes at Whole Foods? The Personal Pronoun Whole Dude is the given name of a Whole Person at Whole Foods

To establish the biological existence of the human organism, Whole Dude applies the concept of Spiritualism and Spirituality to the Cell Theory. The Single Fertilized Egg Cell has ground substance that is of Spiritual nature and the Spiritualism and Spirituality consists of the following functional, and organizational characteristics: 1. The Cell is Conscious of its own existence and knows its internal condition and knows it external environment. 2. The Cell is intelligent and it has the cognitive abilities like perception and memory to acquire information, to retain information, to recall information, and to use information in the performance of its complex tasks in a sequential manner. 3. The Cell has the ability to show characteristics such as mutual cooperation, mutual tolerance, and display functional subordination and subservience while being independent. 4. The Cell grows, divides, and develops into a complete organism while it acquires substances and energy from an external environment. The power of Protoplasm/Cytoplasm to attract matter found in its external environment is called Nutrition. The Cell continuously transforms matter to build matter of its own kind for its own benefit to sustain its  existence with its own identity and individuality. The Organism represents a social group or a biological community of Cells. The Spiritual nature of Protoplasm/Cytoplasm brings this functional harmony and unity in the Social Group or Biotic Community of Cells by bringing together its Essence and Existence.

Whole Dude at Whole Foods made the Discovery of Whole Spirituality

Yes indeed, Life is Complicated because we still do not know many things about Life. We need to discover the nature of Interactions that operate the Connection between Whole Foods, Whole People, and Whole Planet. I coined the phrase Spiritual Interactions to account for the Physiological Basis of Life. But, I need to Live One More Day to learn about the term Biotic Interactions.

The Love Connection – Love is mediated by the Nature of a Spiritual Living Substance

I define ‘Spirituality Science’ – ‘Adhyatma Vidya’ (The Knowledge of Spiritual-Self) as an investigation of the spiritual nature of corporeal or material substances. I must clarify that I am not seeking to discover a soul or a spirit that could have existence independent of the man’s physical being. My inquiry pertains to the relationship between soul, spirit, and human body. When I speak of the man as a Spiritual Being, the truth or falsity of my proposition depends on the fact of man’s having a corporeal substance that is of spiritual nature. The structure and the behavior of things contribute to their individual being, and function. In my view, the ability called discernment, the capacity to make a distinction between good and evil is a spiritual function. Good is a property of being or existence and hence it provides the direction of conduct and behavior that support self-preservation. The specific qualities of the maxims that define the difference between good and evil are Peace, Harmony, and Tranquility. The term evil is the opposite of good. Evil is often associated with violence, agitation, disharmony, disturbance, confusion, and unruly behavior or conduct. Life comes into existence when matter and energy come together. The human being comes to life when the body matter uses its potentiality or power to acquire energy and matter from its external environment. This power to exploit matter and energy for the establishment and preservation of existence is called the power of “Nutrition.” It demands the operation of a principle called discernment, a fundamental, or primary function of knowing what is good or bad for the purposes of self-preservation.

The Real is Rational, and The Rational Real

The Ground Substance of Spiritualism and Spirituality. The vital characteristics, the animating principles of Protoplasm could be known by observing Amoeba proteus. The Living Substance works as an organ of Motion or Movement, as an organ of Nutrition, and as an organ of Reproduction to generate new cells which have a life span of their own. In these physiological functions, I describe the characteristics such as Cognition, Consciousness, Memory, and Intelligence which have a Spiritual role as they bring functional unity and harmony in the interactions between different parts of the same individual organism while it exists in an environment as a member of a biological community.
