Mental Health – Keeping memories alive to protect mind from age-related cognitive decline

Man exists as he helplessly watches the moment called future is churned into past, and present is only an instant in this future-past continuum. Fortunately, man can recall and revisit the moments that have slipped away and bring past into the present moment.

The Personal Pronoun Whole Dude describes the Perfect Union of Matter, Form and Energy

Whole Existence – They Exist, Therefore I am Whole Dude: The Concept of Whole Dude relates to this Idol which personifies the Everlasting Principle as “Ardhanarishwara,” Half-Male and Half-Female at one and the same time. The Male represents the Originating Principle and the Female represents the Source Principle and their Union represents a Perfect Union of Matter, Form and Energy which is always mistaken as a Singular Entity called “I.” The Singular Entity “I” has no Existence of its own unless it is united with the Everlasting Principle to become a Being called “I am.”

Light of Lights – Tribute to Dr Sarvepalli Anantha Padmanabha Rao, M.S.

Dr. Sarvepalli Anantha Padmanabha Rao, M.S., distilled the wisdom of Vedas, and Upanishads by discovering  “Panchama MahaVakya” or 5th Great Aphorism that states “Tat Asmi PrabhO.”  India’s great teacher Adi Shankaracharya composed a single verse, “Eka Shloki” in Sanskrit to capture the essence of the “Four Mahavakyas” (MahaVakya Chatushtaya), Upanishadic Aphorisms. Dr. Sarvepalli went ahead to encapsulate Knowledge and Wisdom or ‘Upadesha’ of Great Guru Shankara in one short, brief, and a precise statement which in Indian tradition can be called the ‘Fifth or Panchama MahaVakya’.

Man’s Future – Evolution or Extinction?

Man’s Future? Could he survive a future major Extinction Event? Essentially, the modern synthetic view of evolution could be defined as a change in gene frequency. Evolution could be described as change in the genetic composition of a population through time. For purposes of speciation or separation into new species, we need to demonstrate cumulative and important changes in the population gene pool. In the last 250,000 years there is no evidence to show any important changes in the population gene pool. Practically speaking, man’s evolution into a new species is arrested because of the intervention of culture between man and his environment.

Man vs God: Who is the Pot Maker?

Man vs God: Who is the Pot Maker? It is very interesting to note that Indian thinkers like Saint Kabir Das are certain about man’s departure. It would be much more interesting to reflect upon as to how man arrives here in the first place. If we understand as to when and how man arrives on planet Earth, we could be more certain about man’s status in nature.

The Status of Man in Nature. Who or What formed the Man?

Man is added to nature by a special act of Creation. The status of Man in Nature is determined by the Law of Natural Generation, Bio-genetic Law, and the Law of Individuality. Could we view the behavior of man and animals and the phenomena of intelligence or mind and the constitution of psyche in confirmation with the doctrine of evolution? If man is a created being, he would exist as a spiritual being, and spirituality describes the connection between man and his Creator. If an immortal principle is involved in the creation of man, the nature or essence of man would describe the nature of that immortal principle.

Sixth-Day Adventism is set to redefine the American Workplace

Existence (What you do) always precedes Essence (What you are). What God did for Six Days is the fundamental basis for knowing God’s Essence. The Seventh-Day Adventism fails to guide man to Work for Six Days in commemoration of God’s Work for Six Days. For a true Adventist, the preparation for the Second Coming involves working for Six Days rather than laying emphasis on the Seventh-Day.

Bharat Darshan – “Proud to be an Indian”

The post centers on the significance of Rani Padmini of Chittorgarh as a symbol of dignity, pride, and courage for India. Her act of self-immolation in defense of her honor and the preservation of her essence inspires great pride among Indians. The author, Dr. R. Rudra Narasimham, a veteran of the Indian Army and a student of Indian history, discusses his personal experiences, underscoring the exemplary courage exhibited by the Indian army. He expounds on the concept of “essence and existence,” defining man’s essence as what he intrinsically is and existence as his actions. He attributes Rani Padmini’s victory over death to her defending her essence while dissolving her physical existence.
