Major General (Retd) Sujan Singh Uban, PVSM, AVSM, the former Inspector General of Special Frontier Force had published his story titled The Phantoms of Chittagong : The Fifth Army in Bangladesh and had narrated the successful military operation in Chittagong Hill Tracts in the 1971 War of Liberation of Bangladesh. During the Indo-Pak War of 1971, the Medical Officer belonging to the Indian Army Medical Corps had displayed Courage while operating inside the enemy territory and in the face of enemy action. Being a Combatant, the Gallantry displayed by the AMC Officer deserves proper recognition.
