What is God’s Plan for giving rest to the man in his old age?

The concept of Holiday begins with the story of creation as revealed in the Book of Genesis and it involves the observance of a ‘Holy Day’. “And God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it He rested from all the work of creating that He had done (Genesis, Chapter 2, verse#3).”

Holiday is a day of freedom from labor sanctioned by God, and it is set aside for leisure and recreation to renew man’s relationship with his Creator. Six days you shall labor, and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord you God. On it you shall not do any work, you, or your son, or your daughter, your male servant, or your female servant, or your livestock, or the sojourner who is within your gates.

In Civil Society, certain days are set aside by Law or Custom and Traditions for the suspension of official business activities and very often in commemoration of some important events in national life. The concept of retirement or that of giving rest to the man during the golden years of his life are directly derived from the holiday tradition of Sabbath which provides rest from work to all persons including the aliens who may be residing in the nation.

The Material Basis of Spirituality Science. What is God’s Plan for giving rest to the man in his old age? Simon Cyrene who followed Jesus bearing the burden of the Cross has to work until his death for he is an alien who has no old age retirement income.

The man exists as a created being in the natural world. The idea of giving rest to the man from his work is the Natural Law created by LORD God Creator when He finished His Work.

In the United States, Labor activists, and Labor Unions made great progress to defend the rights of Working Class. Unfortunately, President Bill Clinton undermined this progress by approving legislation that took away the dignity of unskilled, hourly wage earners who legally work in the US paying the Federal, State, and the Local taxes apart from making contributions to Social Security and Medicare like any other US citizen who pays taxes. President Clinton on August 22, 1996, signed into law, Public Law 104-193, ‘The Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act’ (PRWORA) which places restrictions on the payments of monthly retirement income benefits to alien workers in the US under Title II of the Social Security Act. Refer to Section 401(b) (2) of PRWORA.

For many unskilled, hourly wage earners performing labor in the US, the American Workplace is defined as Work until Death for they have no Retirement option. The American Workplace of the alien worker who labors in America with no Retirement option derives its definition from the Book of Genesis, Chapter 3, verses 17 to 19.
