SPIRITUALITY SCIENCE – THE DOCTRINE OF FATALISM
Fatalism involves the principle of subjugation to God’s Will. I am claiming that God may choose Fateful Event to uplift people who endure subjugation for they have no other choice.

Fate and Karma depend upon two different kinds of operating agencies or powers.
Karma is action performed by Individual and experience of its consequences. To that extent, Individual can modify Karma by performing actions without desire for fruits of his actions. Karma is not operated by an external agency or power while human existence is always conditioned by dependence on external source of energy. Karma is not inevitable for it involves Individual’s choice for action and behavior among a range of options available under external circumstances.
Fate is operated by an external agency or power and there is no escape from the consequences of Fateful events. In all human cultures, people have different attitudes when they submit themselves to power called Fate. Jews and Christians hope for Messiah or Savior. Hindus wait for Reincarnation of Lord Vishnu. Buddhists may wait for Rebirth of Maitreyi or Avalokitesvara. It gives people sense of Hope, and people acquire qualities like Patience and Perseverance. I ask readers to recognize the two dimensions of Fate, 1. Individualistic Fate, and 2. Group or Collective Fate that involves a very large population sharing certain common identity such as race, language, religion, nationality, or place of residence.
Many human cultures share a variety of Doomsday scenarios in different contexts. I am using information provided by Science to predict Doomsday Event predestined for people living in Shanghai City of China. Shanghai is world’s largest City or most populous City with an estimated population of over 24 million within City limits or boundaries. It is not about Fate of random Individuals but about Fate of entire population of modern, urban center of human population.
My interpretation of Science is unrelated to religious beliefs of Shanghai residents. Their Fate is not determined or operated by their faith or belief. While people have no choice or control over this Fateful Event, they may still avoid loss of life as the Event spares life of people who give attention to any announcement or forewarning.

FATE vs KARMA
I am totally dismayed by Sri. Aurobindo’s statement on Fate. However, he is entitled to his views as long as he makes distinction between his personal opinion and the traditions of Land. Karma is not Indian explanation of Fate. Apparently, Sri. Aurobindo fails to understand the concepts of Fate and Karma apart from not knowing as to what Indians generally think on such issues. India is often described as The Land of Karma.

Generally, Indians speak of three kinds of Karma, 1. Sanchita or Sabeeja Karma, the Karma Balance with which newborn arrives in life, 2. Agami Karma, the Karma Balance that is not yet experienced but likely to be experienced during the course of one’s lifetime ( both present and future), and 3. Prarabdha Karma, the Karma Balance that is being experienced in present condition of life at given time.
Fate describes Power or Agency ( in Indian Tradition, this Power or Agency may not be the same as GOD) which determines the outcome of events before they occur. Neither the individual, nor God may have the ability to influence or change or alter the ‘Outcome’ predetermined by Fate or Destiny and it speaks of inevitability of the outcome if it is destined to happen.
The Book of Revelation, Chapter 18 describes sudden downfall of ‘Babylon’ due to Catastrophe, Disaster, or Doom. A person disposed to predicting Doom, Disaster, Catastrophe, etc., is known as Doomsayer. For that reason, I described the reason as to why I exist; my existence is entirely predetermined by Fate or Destiny which shapes outcome of future events. To suggest this purpose, I use the name of ‘Doom Dooma Doomsayer’.

I describe the challenge of human existence to the game of playing Chess. The Agency or Power called Fate knows your mind, knows your response to any given situation in life. It alters, modifies, or even creates external circumstances of life in such a way that man is forced to act in conformity with Divine Will, and the notion of ‘Free Will’ is mere illusion.
What is Existence?
Dr. Oliver Wendell Holmes, Professor of Anatomy and Physiology, later, Dean, Harvard School of Medicine ( 1847- 53) states, “To live is to function and that is all there is in living.” I ask my readers to read Human Physiology and Human Anatomy to grasp the meaning of his words.
For all living things exist as Individuals with Individuality, the purpose of existence needs definition on individualistic basis. However, it must be noted that bodies do not comprise the ‘Whole of Existence’. For that reason, we have to ask, 1.What is it existing?, 2. Who is it existing?, 3. Where is it existing?, 4. When is it existing?, and 5. Why is it existing?
I describe reality of man in terms of ‘Matter’, an indispensable factor in the constitution of physical thing. Matter is associated with the idea of quantity, the basic magnitudes such as Mass, Space, and Time. That which is or has Matter in it necessarily occupies Space. While Time and Space are thought of as ‘immaterial’ dimensions, existence of material things is always influenced by Time and Space. For example, the era of Dinosaurs is entirely different from present time. Planet Earth is not the same as it existed in times before. In fact, Earth is never present at the same location in Space at any given two instants while man may experience changing Seasons in consistent manner.
It is not easy or practical to define individualistic purpose in life as life is always influenced by cosmic events such as ‘BOLIDE’ collision which in the past wiped out the entire, thriving population of Dinosaurs.
Before moving to Ann Arbor, Michigan, U.S.A., I lived in Doom Dooma, Assam, India during the presidency of Richard M. Nixon and Gerald R. Ford. Its destiny that gave presidency to Ford who studied in Ann Arbor, Michigan decades before my arrival here.
For I lived in Doom Dooma, I understand the meaning of Doom, Destiny, Fate, Judgment, and Punishment that shapes purpose in life.
I maintain lifetime affiliation to military organization known in India as Special Frontier Force. For reasons of this affiliation, my individualistic purpose is that of Doom Dooma Doomsayer. I am announcing that Earth again faces the danger of collision with a large stone or Bolide which shapes earthly experience of Doom, Apocalypse, Disaster, or Cataclysm.
The site of asteroid or bolide impact is expected to be near Shanghai Nanhui Port, China.
