SPIRITUALITY SCIENCE – THE CONCEPT OF WHOLE CELL, WHOLE MAN, AND WHOLE MEDICINE
The purpose of Medicine is that of promoting Man’s Well-Being. Man apart from his dimension of Physical Being has to be known from study of his dimensions of Mental Being, Social Being, Moral Being, Spiritual Being, and Created Being. The entire Human Organism is derived from Growth and Development of One, Single Fertilized Egg Cell and I describe this Cell as ‘Whole Cell’. For Life begins at Conception, the concern for promoting Man’s Well-Being or the Concept of Whole Medicine involves knowing the true or real nature of ‘Whole Cell’.
I define “Whole Medicine” as a systematic study of the Physical, Mental, Moral, Social, and Spiritual aspects of Man’s well-being in relation to health and disease.
I want to inform my readers that I am participating in this discussion to develop the concept of ‘Whole Man’ and ‘Whole Medicine’. To that extent, I am seeking use of verified knowledge that can have practical application in promoting the Well-Being of Man of any Race, any Gender, any Nationality, any Age, any Skin Color, or of any Language, or Religious affiliation.
Sri. Aurobindo Ghosh (1872-1950), Indian mystic philosopher, in his book titled ‘LETTERS ON YOGA’, page 576, writes, “The individual is only an entity in a much vaster totality just like you: You have lots of cells in your body; each cell has its own consciousness and you have a consciousness of your total individuality, though made up of all these small cellular consciousness.”
It is apparent from his writing that Man’s Individuality is made up of consciousness contributed by Independent, Living Cells of his entire organism for they constitute the Building Blocks of Human Body. For that reason, I have to use the concept of ‘Whole Cell’ to describe the concept of ‘Whole Man.’
I speak of Spirituality Science which holds that ‘Man is Real’. As per the theory or philosophical doctrine called ‘REALISM’, Individual Things exist independently of the mind’s perception of them. The term “REAL” describes the fact of existence independent of both human mind and the imaginative power of the Individual Object. I use the concept of ‘Whole Cell’ to describe myself in “REAL” terms.
