The Doomed Presidency of Nixon-Ford US administration

Yes indeed, Life is Complicated. My Nixon – Ford Connection dates back to September 1971. My Journey to arrive in Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA started on July 26, 1970 and the journey was predestined for I inherited the doomed presidency of the Nixon-Ford US administration.

On August 08, 1974, on an evening televised address, President Richard M. Nixon announces his intention to become the first president in American history to resign. With impeachment proceedings underway against him for his involvement in the Watergate affair, Nixon was finally bowing to pressure from the public and Congress to leave the White House. “By taking this action,” he said in a solemn address from the Oval Office, “I hope that I will have hastened the start of the process of healing which is so desperately needed in America.”

On August 09, 1974, I was stationed in India at the Military Hospital Wing, Headquarters Establishment Number. 22, C/O 56 APO, Special Frontier Force (Vikas Regiment). Because of my lifetime regimental affiliation to Special Frontier Force, Nixon/Kissinger/Ford live in my memory for their actions providing aid and comfort to the Enemy while we dedicated our lives to secure Democracy, Freedom, Peace, and Justice in Occupied Tibet.

August 09 is the unique day of my life. On August 09, 1974 I was serving in Special Frontier Force, Establishment 22, Vikas Regiment, at Chakrata, India. I was involved in the Tibetan Resistance Movement, the struggle of Tibetan refugees for Freedom, Peace, and Justice in Occupied Tibet. In American History, Ford becomes President due to unusual succession on 9th Day of August 1974.

On August 09, 1974, I never expected or imagined that I will live my life in a City called Ann Arbor. I never expected or anticipated that the Antislavery Campaign (Repeal PRWORA Project) will become the central focus of my life while living on the US soil. My Struggle for Freedom and Democracy in Occupied Tibet continued under the Ford presidency but his succession is not consistent with the basic principles of democratic governance.

In accordance with his statement of resignation the previous evening, Richard M. Nixon officially ends his term as the 37th president of the United States at noon. Before departing with his family in a helicopter from the White House lawn, he smiled farewell and enigmatically raised his arms in a victory or peace salute. The helicopter door was then closed, and the Nixon family began their journey home to San Clemente, California. Richard Nixon was the first U.S. president to resign from office.

Minutes later, Vice President Gerald R. Ford was sworn in as the 38th president of the United States in the East Room of the White House. After taking the oath of office, President Ford spoke to the nation in a television address, declaring, “My fellow Americans, our long national nightmare is over.”

Ford, the first president who came to the office through appointment rather than election, had replaced Vice President Spiro Agnew only eight months before. In a political scandal independent of the Nixon administration’s wrongdoings in the Watergate affair, Agnew had been forced to resign in disgrace after he was charged with income tax evasion and political corruption. In September 1974, Ford pardoned Nixon for any crimes he may have committed while in office, explaining that he wanted to end the national divisions created by the Watergate scandal.

Ford is inaugurated

On this day in 1974, one day after the resignation of President Richard M. Nixon, Gerald R. Ford is sworn in as president, making him the first man to assume the presidency upon his predecessor’s resignation. He was also the first non-elected Vice President and non-elected President, which made his presidency unique.

Nixon leaves office

Having announced his resignation the day before, Richard M. Nixon steps down from the presidency of the United States and is succeeded by Vice President Gerald R. Ford. Nixon had resigned rather than face almost certain impeachment because of the Watergate Scandal.

In my analysis, Nixon-Kissinger Vietnam Treason predetermined my slave status while I live in a Free Nation.
