On Friday, June 07, 2013, Representative John Dingell(Democrat-Michigan) has become the longest-serving Congressman in the history of the US Congress. He has established an unprecedented record of getting elected by people for 29 consecutive terms since 1955.
I respect the democratic institutions and traditions of the United States. To defend Freedom, and Democracy, and to secure Peace, and Justice in the occupied Land of Tibet, I had voluntarily served in a military organization known in India as Special Frontier Force, or Establishment Number. 22. It represents a military alliance/pact between the United States, India, and Tibet. Unfortunately, this reputable military organization remains under the shroud of secrecy, a legacy of the Cold War Era. My belief in Democracy and my commitment to defend human rights is associated with unconditional adherence to the principles of transparency and accountability in governance.
This military organization is known in India as Special Frontier Force still exists now because of the support and encouragement given by the people of the United States and because of the actions taken by their elected representatives. Representative John Dingell of Michigan must be thanked for giving his support and encouragement to the people of Tibet in their struggle against oppression by Communist China. I want to sincerely thank the people of Michigan for electing John Dingell as their Representative for 29 consecutive terms since 1955.
