Suratgarh in Sri Ganganagar District of Rajasthan is considered to be the Land of Rig Veda. The chief Rig Vedic River of Sarasvati drenched the soil of this area around 3,000 B.C.
Suratgarh is a strategic post where Indian Armed Forces train to prepare to fight the enemy. I had lived and camped at Suratgarh several times during 1976-1978. Preparing for a battle always induces a sense of excitement. In this story at my Home Page of bhavanajagat, I had described the excitement and anxiety which was a medical symptom of a terrifying disease known as ‘Hydrophobia’. Kindly read the story and leave your comment.
